DR. SUHAD HASSAN

Dr Suhad Hassan is a highly trained Australian Board Certified Obstetrician and Gynaecologist, who is committed to excellence in women’s health care.

Dr Hassan has a private practice in Benowa and at Gold Coast Private Hospital, and is known for her compassionate care and gentle touch. Dr Hassan understands how powerful and special that moment of childbirth is for women. No matter how many babies she has delivered, she has never lost sight of the importance of that moment for her patients. It is a very intense and unique experience, and a very special moment in time.

Dr Hassan has more than a decade of experience in Obstetrics and Gynaecology and was the Staff Specialist at Logan Hospital where she was in charge of high risk pregnancy patients, as well as performing all gynaecological and advanced laparoscopic procedures.

Dr Hassan has lived on the Gold Coast for the past 18 years, and completed her Obstetrics and Gynaecology training in Queensland in 2003. During her training, she worked at the Gold Coast Hospital, Royal Women’s Hospital, QE II and Townsville Hospitals. She has also been fortunate to have the opportunity of spending 6 months with the Flying Obstetrics and Gynaecology Service.

Dr Hassan looks after all aspects of obstetrics and gynaecology, aiming to facilitate the provision of high quality of care.
