The Gold Coast Private Hospital (GCPH) is a $230 million Healthscope-operated facility that became the new home for Allamanda Private Hospital in March 2016. The hospital is co-located with the Gold Coast University Hospital and Griffith University and forms part of the Health and Knowledge Precinct.
Gold Coast Private has 314 beds and 21 theatres with the ability to expand to 400 beds in-line with demand. It includes a 24-hour Emergency Care Centre, cardiac catheterisation lab and a hybrid theatre, rehabilitation, oncology, intensive care, maternity, paediatrics and special care nursery and is supported by providers of imaging, pharmacy and pathology services.
